Ontario Dairy Youth Seminar 2009

On April 18th, 8 youth participants from all across Ontario got together in the Guelph area for the Ontario Dairy Youth Seminar. The 8 participants were: Wes Killing, Courtney Henderson, Shea O’Neill, Jenna Haelzle, Dieuwke Schuurmans, Jenna Elliot,  The youth seminar toured many different farms in the area, as well as received information from various different speakers.

A big thank you to the following sponsors of the Youth Seminar: Select Sires, Jersey Canada, Ontario Holstein, Ontario Joint Dairy Breeds, Ontario Dairy Youth Trust Fund, & Gencor. Also thank you to the farms that allowed the Seminar to tour their place.  Without the sponsorship and cooperation of the farmers, this event would not be possible.

Thank you to Jenny Butcher & Wes Kuntz for organizing and chaperoning the Seminar! It was greatly appreciated!
