Ontario Summer Show The Ontario Summer Show was held on Thursday July 22nd at the Lindsay Fairgrounds. Judge Barclay Phoenix of Greenbank, ON had no problems placing the 89 jerseys that were exhibited that day. Grand Champion of the 2010 show went to Bridon Farms Inc. of Paris ON with Americana Centurion Snowie, the first place 4 year old. Snowie was also named the best udder of the show. Reserve Champion went to Shantals C'Gar Shiloh, owned by Avonlea Genetics & Cybil Fisher. Shiloh was the first place senior 3 year old as well as Intermediate Champion. Bridon Farms also exhibited the Honorable Mention cow with Bridon Grove Betsy. Junior Champion honours went to the entry of Avonlea Genetics, Corey Rae and Kim Rietveld on their Intermediate Yearling Kellogg Bay Amedeo Gwenyth. Reserve Junior Champion C-Avonlea Jackknife Vavoom was the 1st place Junior Yearling for Clair Petherick of Campbellford. Honorable Mention was claimed by the first place summer yearling for Mike Sleegers, Ari Eckstein adn Becky Quickfall with their heifer Sleegerholm Nuggy's Request. Premier Breeder and Exhibitor banners were presented to Tim and Sharyn Sargent and family of Enniskillen Jerseys.
